WDC was born in September 2008 from my own need, as a massage therapist, for affordable advertising & the desire to advocate for alternative healthcare. By bridging holistic practitioners and wellness seekers, I intend for WDC to become America’s premier holistic directory for reliable and useful information – a distinction to which I AM committed!

It is my joyful & passionate mission through WDC to promote the growing use of holistic healthcare. An advocate for authentic wellness, I teach through my website CarlaGoldenWellness.com and specialize in the use of therapeutic essential oils in my private massage practice, Golden Touch Massage Therapy, on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina.

When my hands are not on a massage client, they are on the computer networking for WDC, sharing wellness tips and pursuing a PhD in Holistic Health and Wellness.
